2018 Hyundai Kona Specifications & More Revealed
The 2018 Hyundai Kona has been officially unveiled! The new Hyundai subcompact SUV will be out later this year after its world premiere at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Aesthetically, the Kona shows some nods to both the Citroen C3 Aircross and various members of the Volvo SUV lineup.

Once you get past the attractive exterior, the interior holds its own appeal offering a range of different sized infotainment displays (up to 8 inches). Hyundai’s reputation for delivering when it comes to higher-end features and accessories is on display when it comes to the Kona. Specifically, we’re talking about the optional HUD (Heads Up Display) which you will find positioned behind the main instrument panel for the driver. With this included, driver’s can view various vehicle data, including: vehicle speed, audio settings as well as navigation commands and alerts from the available lane-departure warning system.
The Kona’s system works with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and will include an HUD (Heads Up Display). Hyundai Kona’s safety systems will include a Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA); High Beam Assist (HBA); Driver Attention Warning (DAW); Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW); and Rear Cross-Traffic Collison Warning (RCCW).
According to Hyundai, the new 2018 Hyundai Kona has a 1.6-liter diesel engine, a 1.0 liter T-GDI with 120 horsepower and the 1.6 T-GDI with 177 horsepower.
