While many car and truck makers add features and trim levels on model years to bridge the gap between revisions, when it comes to the 2018 Honda Ridgeline pickup, the company has opted to pare down options for interested buyers.

Recently, Honda released the 2018 Ridgeline pricing with some noticeable omissions. The base 2018 Honda Ridgeline RT with front-wheel drive and a 5-inch color infotainment screen is priced at $29,630 – an increase from last year by $155. Don’t bother looking for an all-wheel drive version of the RT – Honda isn’t offering one.

Stepping up from the base model, Honda is offering the 2018 Ridgeline Sport for $33,170. For the price, you’ll get keyless entry, three-zone automatic climate control and fog lights. You’ll also get all-wheel drive as an available upgrade for another $1,900. Since the Ridgeline RT AWD trim is no longer available, new buyers will be paying $3,695 more than they would have in 2017 to get all-wheel drive.

For $33,930 you can opt for the Ridgeline RTL with acoustic windshield, leather-wrapped steering wheel and heated power front seats. Add all-wheel drive and your price is $35,830.

Sticking with front-wheel drive, the highest trim level is the Ridgeline RTL-T for $36,080 which has Honda LaneWatch, LED running lights and an 8.0-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. (AWD version will run you $37,980.)

Honda’s Ridgeline RTL-E is priced at $41,620 and includes truck-bed speakers, a 540-watt sound system, LED headlights as well as Honda’s safety suite, SafetySensing, which offers autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist.

All the 2018 Honda Ridgeline’s have a 3.5-liter V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. The engine is rated to tow up to 5,000 pounds and haul up to 1,580. As for fuel efficiency, EPA rating for the front-wheel drive models is 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway with the all-wheel drive dropping your city mileage to 18 mpg and your highway to 25 mpg.
