If you’re a fan of the classic Dodge Chargers and are still nursing disappointment over its modern four-door reincarnation we have a story out of Ohio that may give you some solace. Imagine the thunderous power of a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine with 707hp roaring under the hood of a 1969 Dodge Charger. Now open your eyes because it’s happening.
The latest resto-mod project coming out of Cleveland Power & Performance involves taking the chassis, power-train and interior from a 2016 Challenger SRT Hellcat and merging it with a ’69 Dodge Charger. Brawn and beauty together. They’re calling it Reverence. Apt title, right? You can keep tabs on the development over at the Cleveland Power & Performance website.
